As a Debt Collection Executive working from home, you will be responsible for managing and collecting overdue accounts on behalf of the organization. You will be required to contact customers via phone, email or other means to discuss their accounts and negotiate payment arrangements. Your role will involve working independently and efficiently to meet targets and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Contacting customers via phone, email or other means to discuss their overdue accounts.
Negotiating payment arrangements and following up with customers to ensure payments are made.
Updating customer records and maintaining accurate documentation of all collections activities.
Identifying and escalating high-risk accounts to the appropriate department for further action.
Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Meeting or exceeding individual targets for collections and call volume.
Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and company policies regarding debt collections.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree is preferred.
Prior experience in debt collections, customer service, or related field.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficient in using computer and software applications for collections activities.
Access to a reliable internet connection and equipment to work from home.
Working Conditions:
This is a remote position and requires the ability to work independently from a home office environment. The Debt Collection Executive must have access to a reliable internet connection, computer, and phone. This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate different time zones.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Debt Collection Executive will work as an independent contractor and may be eligible for performance-based incentives. This position does not offer traditional employee benefits
